Led one of Canada's largest public/private Research and Technology Organizations (RTO) through sustained growth, operational modernization, and budgetary disruptions - driving revenue diversification, innovation ecosystem partnerships, and emerging technology investments. Sustained year-over-year revenue growth, profitability growth, and significant Employee Engagement results improvement over three consecutive survey periods.
Led the establishment and execution of a post-merger Integration Management Office and facilitated the consolidation of four-distinct provincial innovation organizations and the incorporation of two applied research entities into a cohesive single provincial research and innovation. I took a system-of-systems approach starting with who we served, what service did we provide, how we delivered them, and who within the organization supported the management of stakeholders, finance and operations, and other back-office functions and systems. The integration of people, processes, and technology was documented in a multi-project program roadmap used to manage and prioritize initiatives allowing the organization to serve, plan, operate, and measure as one with a common purpose.
Integrated multiple clinical systems into a unified access layer—improving data access and enabling new care models. This led to my involvement in cross-care- environment patient, provider, and care team data exchanges to enable new public health surveilence, population health, chronic disease registry, access to services and wait-time reduction intiatives, and others. I was invited to present this experience and Canadian perspective at an International Healthcare Conference in São Paulo Brazil.
As a partner at a Big Four Consultancy with mandate to grow the firm's large-scale systems integration market in Canada, I initiated, and launched, and implemented a commercial cloud-based platform focused integrating a patients care management and experience, and cross-care environment data exchange at provincial, state, or country scales. International market interest and success was demonstrated and a dedicated product development centre was established.
Demonstrated intrapreneurial success through the creation, implementation, and operation of a managed service industry data exchange platform for the energy sector in Western Canada. The platform exchanged hundreds of thousands of operational data transactions over more than a decade, and won first place in the large Systems Integrators "Excellence in Innovation" program.
Working with a Forestry Research and Technology Organization (RTO) as Principle Digital Consultant on their Digital Vertical team focused on Industrial Digitization. With industrial process optimization as the primary objective, digital service opportunities are researched, developed, de-risked, and potentially commercialized for use on-site. These include the operational data domains from machine-level (Industrial IoT: OT + IT), site-level, enterprise-level, to sector-wide level. I am providing advisory and consulting services leveraging my IT and digital platform expertise to work-side by side with the client forestry sector expert teams.
I’ve operated in multiple sectors at both:
That combination is rare—and necessary.
